What are minutes?

Let's say you have 1,000 minutes in your account. Minutes are normally earned by watching other members' websites through the automatic Traffic Exchange system. Read more about it here.

The minutes are used to deliver visitors to your websites. When submitting your website into HitLeap, you can choose how long you want the visitors to stay on the website: between 10 and 60 seconds.

Let's also assume that you have submitted one website under My Websites, and the visit duration has been set to 30 seconds, which is 0.5 minutes. This is the amount of minutes that every hit will cost you.

Therefore, 1,000 minutes on your account will give you: 1,000 minutes / 0.5 minutes = 2,000 hits in total. If the visit duration is set to 60 seconds, you would receive: 1,000 minutes / 1 minute = 1,000 hits in total.

How do I earn minutes?

You earn minutes in 2 ways:

Through the Traffic Exchange
From your referrals

Earning minutes through the Traffic Exchange
When you visit the Traffic Exchange page and click on Start Traffic Exchange, your browser will automatically start showing you websites from other members. Thousands of members are running this automatic system as you are reading this article, viewing each others' websites.

If you are a Regular member and keep the Traffic Exchange running for 100 minutes, you will earn back 70% of the time - 70 minutes. The minutes are added to your balance, visible on the Overview page.

Whenever you have unused minutes in your balance, they will automatically be used to show your websites (that you have submitted under My Websites) to thousands of other members running the Traffic Exchange.

Your browser might freeze when running the Traffic Exchange. We recommend you to use the special HitLeap Viewer application to avoid that.

Earning minutes from your referrals
When your referral earns 70 minutes from the Traffic Exchange, you will earn up to 30% of that amount. The percentage you earn depends on your account type.

In the given example, you will earn 70 minutes x 30% = 21 minutes from your referral. The Minutes are immediately added to your account's balance.

You can see the all-time earnings from your referrals on the Referrals page.

What is the HitLeap Viewer?

Normally, you simply start the Traffic Exchange in your browser (e.g. Firefox or Chrome). You might discover that after just a few hours, your browser freezes and your are no longer earning minutes.

To overcome this problem, we have created the HitLeap Viewer application for the Windows operating system. The application is designed to run only the Traffic Exchange and it is able to do so without freezing or requiring any extra attention.

You can download the application by clicking Download on the Traffic Exchange page. The file is a self-extracting archive and you need to execute it and extract it into a folder. Inside the folder you will find an executable file called "HitLeap Viewer".

The HitLeap Viewer is currently only available for:

Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or better)
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Windows 8

At the moment, Linux and Mac users can only run the application through VirtualBox. We are also planning to introduce a better way to run the application under Linux and Mac in the near future.

The minimum system requirements for the application are:

A 2GHz processor (with at least 2 cores)
1 GB of free RAM
1 MBps internet speed

How do I earn money?

You can earn money by referring new people to HitLeap.

Whenever one of your referrals buys something from HitLeap, you are immediately credited with up to 50% of the purchase value. The percentage you earn depends on your account type.

For example, if you are a Premium member and your referral buys 50,000 Minutes for € 35.00, you will immediately earn € 17.50.

The cash is added to your account's cash balance and can be withdrawn to your Paypal account after you reach the minimum € 5.00 balance.

You can view your current cash balance by clicking on Referrals after logging in.

How to Hack Facebook Using FaceNiff

DOWNLOAD HERE
FaceNiff is an Android app that allows you to sniff and intercept web session profiles over the WiFi that your mobile is connected to.
It is possible to hijack sessions only when WiFi is not using EAP, but it should work over any private networks (Open/WEP/WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK)
It's kind of like Firesheep for android. Maybe a bit easier to use (and it works on WPA2!).

*** ROOTED PHONE *** is required. Please note that if webuser uses SSL this application won't work.
This application due to its nature is very phone-dependant so please let me know if it won't work for You

Xposed Modules (Requires Root)

In the spirit of the app roundup, I thought I'd list a few of the Xposed Mods I find particularly useful/helpful, and anyone who wants can do the same in the comments. But instead f a recurring post, it will just be this one, so if you've got a few to share, list 'em all.
Some quick info: using Xposed requires using the Installer (apk available through XDA, here) to install the Xposed Framework, which in turn requires root, and may not work on all devices (generally requires 4.0+ but there's also a Gingerbread version).
The modules allow you to make tweaks to your phone, or to other apps on your phone.
The big one is GravityBox, which offers a lot of general tweaks like changing the battery indicator to text with the percent, or placing the notification bar clock in the center (with or without the AM/PM). It's good if your phone is rooted but not unlocked, or if you didn't find a ROM for your phone you like, or if the ROM you liked is essentially just stock Android with root.
Update (9/23/14): There were a couple other all-in-one mods mentioned in the comments that also sound pretty good:
Xblast Tools - Let's you customiz how just about everything looks on your phone. (Thanks to Psychotik for listing this one).
Wanam - this one is for Samsung devices running TouchWiz, which considering how many people have a GS device and that towelroot lets you root it, should be helpful to more than a few readers. (Thanks to nobono, Mr. Damage, Mike_Vee, and dustylind for mentioning it).
But since I have a ROM I like on my main phone (Purity, which you can read about here), I'll move on to the modules I actually use (the link in each name will take you to the XDA page).
Greenify - Experimental Features. This works with the Greenify app (which itself no longer requires root), to allow you to hibernate system apps, among other extras.
RootCloak - hides root from any apps you apply it to, great for the ones that refuse to work if root is detected.
SwypeTweaks - provides changes to the Swype keyboard that Nuance should have provided but didn't, like more options on the trail color, long pressing the enter button to switch keyboards, different colors for the Alt Key Text, or using Google voice entry instead of Dragon.
Wakelock Terminator (no link but you can find it on the download list directly in the Xposed Installer app) - this was recommended specifically to deal with an issue of Google Search wakelocks causing battery drain. You can read about it here.
Xposed Call Blocker - just like it sounds, it allows you to block calls from numbers you add to a list. Great if your phone doesn't provide the option, especially if like me you kept getting calls about a $300 credit to an AT&T account you don't even have.
Got any other modules you've found to be cool/helpful? Post them in the comments.
Update 9/23/14: thanks to everyone for your suggestions in the comments. I've now added the following to my phone:
ActivityForceNewTask - makes apps that link to other apps open the actual app instead of within the original app, so it shows up in recent apps. I know I'm using the word app a lot, it's probably better to just check the link. (Thanks to theekinjakid, dasdasdas31, and Castaway for mentioning this one).
Chrome New Tab (no link but you can find it on the download list directly in the Xposed Installer app) - forces Chrome to launch links in a new tab, instead of having to long press the link and choose the option each time. (Thanks to theekinjakid for listing this).
CrappaLinks - as described on its XDA page: removes link masking / tracking / shortening from various apps. (Thanks to Mr. Damage, Theophilius P. Wildebeast, and dustylind for listing this).
MinMinLock - lets you set a password lock on individual apps, like bank/credit card, file explorer or even the Xposed Installer app (nevermind on that last one). (Thanks to bulyosan for listing this one).
Play Store link in App info (no link but you can find it on the download list directly in the Xposed Installer app) - adds a link to the app in the Play Store in the app info accessed from the general settings menu provided, of course, that the app is available on the Play Store. (Thanks to bulyosan for listing this).
Statusbar Scroll to Top - let's you tap the status bar to scroll to the top of lists like the apps list from general settings, the "my apps" list in the Play Store, or the list of xposed modules in your installer app. (Thanks to Whiston, bulyosan for listing this).
Tinted Status Bar - should really be called "chameleon status bar" because it changes the color of the status bar to match whatever app you have open. Mostly just an aesthetic thing, but looks pretty cool. (Thanks to Nihilexistentialist for listing this).

What you need:
  1. Download the Tor Browser Bundle from the link above. It requires no installation, simply extract it and run.
  2. Make sure Vidalia is working. Vidalia indicates Tor is running via the green onion icon in your task bar, or a dark onion icon with an X if it is not. You can start or stop this by right clicking the icon and choosing start or stop.
  3. Try using your browser with Tor and make sure your IP is being anonymized. You can do this by visiting http://check.torproject.org (if you're using a firewall, make sure you allow local application connections to local port 8118 and 9050, and outgoing connections on TCP port 80 and 443.)
  4. Using Tor alone isn't enough to be completely anonymous. To ensure your privacy, it is highly recommended you disable all browser plugins such as: Java, Flash, ActiveX, RealPlayer, Quicktime, and Adobe's PDF plugin.
